Underbridges and fences …

… are efficient tools for protecting wildlife of being killed by traffic. Furthermore, they are corridors to connect populations. Here, you can see a fence with passage for amphibians and an underbridge with tracks of mammals (wild boar, roe deer, fox, marten).

Greenbridges …

… are - when carefully planned - a good tool for preventing roadkills and enable exchange of terrestrial animals between local populations. Here you can see one end of an greenbridge (with several hundert meters in length it`s rather a greentunnel) in Switzerland, West of Bern.
