… it was only centimeters close to being killed by me. I was cycling when I came along that Tettigonia viridissima female. Of coarse. I put her back to the meadows. Be aware, even with bikes you may kill animals on roads …

and windfalls attract butterflies to the edges of roads. A dangerous trap. Here you can see a dead butterfly (Vanessa atalanta) on a country road along apple trees.
